-Students should be able to express what their favorite animals are and the reason why this animal is their favorite ones + colors of the animals.
-Using the new structure, present continuous tense (I am doing) and students should be learning how to use the present continuous tense
- Go through the new vocabulary words related to animals using visual aids
- Practice to express new sentences using new vocabularies and new structure correctly
Visual aids: Blackboard, flashcards and pictures.
Using flashcards and pictures are good tool as it is simple and straightforward so the students will enjoy and have fun in class which is very important.
Teacher: Good afternoon class! How are you doing today?
Can you guys tell me things what you’ve done the previous day?
Student 1: Good afternoon teacher! I watched spider movie with my sister ?
Teacher: Wow spider movie~ it sounds very interesting!
Student 2: I ate Macdonald yesterday!
Teacher: Macdonald? Wow! I like Macdonald too! You must be very happy!
Student3: I am not feeling well teacher…
Teacher: Oh no...What happened? Are you okay? You will feel better when we start the class.
After warming up, it is Introduction stage. -10minutes
In introduction stage, I am going to use visual aids which improve the lesson. Introduce the topic and aims briefly and ask some questions related to the topic. Talk about the “favorite animals” and ask some questions. And tell the class what we are going to do in this lesson. I will talk about the favorite animal and students will learn words related to animals by using flash card and do reading activities and speaking activities.
In this stage, it is important not to introduce or present the new vocabulary and structures. Just make sure introduce the topics and aims.
