① 1-1 : 한국인들은 /r/과 /l/이 영어 단어의 맨 앞에 오는 경우 그 발음의 차이점을 명확하 게 듣지 못한다.
1-13 : 한국어에 /z/ 발음이 없기 때문에 ‘지’ 로 들리기 쉬운데 이 발음은 영어의 /ʤ/발 음과 비슷하다.

⑤ 2-12 : 두 단어 사이에 음운 변화가 일어나 발음이 축약되었다.

① 1-2 : 영어 단어에서 /v/나 /f/ 로 시작되는 단어는 초성으로 쓰일 경우 명확하게 구분되
지만, 한국어에서는 이 두 발음이 아예 없다. fact 의 /f/ 발음을 /p/로 혼돈해서 듣 지 않도록 주의해야 한다.

③ 1-8 : 단모음 /i/단어의 발음이다. (단모음 /i/와 장모음 /i:/를 한국인들은 헷갈릴 수 있다)
