And Korea's elderly suicides rate was highest among OECD member nations. In addition, the absolute suicides rate was very high level compared to other countries. Thus it can be said that elderly suicide in Korea is a serious social problem not only nationally but globally. It is predicted that approximately 25% of the population would be the aged people in 2030 as the elderly population is growing rapidly. Consequently, the elderly suicide is very serious social problem because the aged is not minority population no more. Considering that the elderly suicide is not happened impulsively unlike the youth suicide, we can know that elderly suicide is not just matter of individual dimension but matter of social structural dimension. Also it is necessary to analyze and cope with the problem at the level of social structure. So we investigated how the isolation of the elderly is connected to the suicide of the aged and what mechanism is exist in that process. In our study, we focused on confirming the risk factors of elderly suicide to come up with the preventive interventions. Risk factors consist of intervention-impossible factors and potentially intervention-possible factors. The former refer to suicide-
