Steel is a fundamental material for economic development because it is a primary raw material in an industrial age. On that account, developing countries as well as developed ones are taking an interest and putting a lot of efforts on the steel industry.
There are manifold steel products. But, briefly, they can be classified as “steel plates” for making manufactured goods such as cars, ships and “frame products” for construction. INI steel has primarily produced “frame products” and began to make steel plates in 2005.
On the contrary, there have not been important movements for overseas market. In 2000, INI Steel built an assembly factory for wheels of crane in Qing Dao of China. However, considering the fact that it was not core business and there was no concrete information about it in the audit report of 2004 because it took under 10% of a corporate asset , it is hard to say that the company had started to apply epoch-making international business strategy.
As we have seen, INI Steel has grown up on the basis of domestic market. Does INI Steel have to continue its growth strategy?
