Ⅰ. 비공식조직

1. 비공식조직의 개념

비공식적 조직이란 구성원 상호간의 접촉이나 친근성에 의해 자연발생적으로 형성되는 조직으로서 사실상 존재하는 현실적 인간관계와 인간의 욕구를 기반으로 하며 구조가 명확하지 않으나 공식조직에 비하여 신축성을 가진 조직이다. 비공식적 조직은 1930년대 이후의 인간관계론 내지 신고전이론에서 리더쉽, 사기, 의사소통의 문제와 더불어 가장 중시되어온 분야가 되었다. 이러한 비공식조직의 특징을 살펴보면 다음과 같다.

1) 자연발생적 성격
2) 비제도적 성격으로 현실의 동태적인 인간관계에 의하여 형성된 비제도화된 조직이다.
3) 감정의 논리에 입각한 조직이다.
4) 내면적, 불가시적 성격의 조직이다.
5) 부분적 질서를 형성
6) 조직의 목표는 구성원의 욕구 또는 소망의 다양성에 따라서 그 목표가 달라지며 하나의 관료 조직 내에는 여러 잡다한 비공식조직이 형성된다.
7) 인간화 및 민주화 : 공식조직에 비해 활동, 가입, 탈퇴가 자유롭고 인간적 가치의 추구가 용이하다.
8) 영향력이나 대인관계 등 사회적 통제가 이루어진다.
9) 수평적이며 비계층적 성격의 집단
10) 일반적 조직이 아닌 변칙적 조직이며 공식조직의 존폐에 따라 영향을 받는 타율적 조직이다.
