1. History and Status of Hyundai card
Hyundai Kia motors company acquired ‘Diners Club Korea’ in October 2001, and changed its name to ‘Hyundaicard’. Under their vision that takes off the world’s first financing company they launched the ‘Hyundaicard M’ in May 2003. They introduced the ‘Save point system’ which is the point anticipation system for the first time. After launching the ‘Hyundaicard M’, they continued their Alphabet marketing strategy such as Hyundaicard C (2004), Hyundaicard S, (2004) ,Hyundaicard V (2007). They also held the ‘Hyundaicard super match’ which is sports marketing series since 2005, and served shopping, leisure, education, trip, concert service by launching PRIVA which is a lifestyle service. Hyundaicard cooperated with General Electric Company in 2005. Asset of Hyundaicard was 3,730 billion won, net income 281 billion won, and sales
