We treat not only honor killing but also other violent behavior against women's right as a human. There are a few cases about this.
1) "Bibi-Aisha"
The woman in the picture is Aisha, who ran away from Taliban. And there are sentence, "What happens if we leave Afghanistan."
The following is an abridge version of an article that appears in the Aug, 9, 2010, printt and I-Pad editions of TIME magazine.
" The Taliban pounded on the door just before midnight, demanding that Aisha, 18, be punished for running away from her husband's house. Her in-law treated her like a slave, Aisha pleaded. They beat her. If she had'nt run away, she would have died. Her judge, a local Taliban commander, was unmoved. Aisha's brother-in-law held her down while her husband pulled out a knife. First, he sliced off her ears. Then he started on her nose. "
After this, she was saved by U.S.A and she got a artificial nose.
