    Introducing LG electronics

    LG electronics is launched in 1958. It is in the LG group and has the second-largest market in Korea. The main industry of LG electronics is making Cell phones, and they also manages Air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, motors, TV, monitors, video tape, audio, DVD, PC. They developed the world’s first DMB phone in 2004. It established the subsidiary in Germany, Thailand, Mexico and the United Kingdom, Philippines, Italy, Egypt, Indonesia. There are about 120,000 Employees in LG Electronics.
    They joined UN Global Compact and designed Non-Financial risk management system like Labor, Human rights, Environment, Ethics. They also joined Electronic Industry Citizenship coalition called EICC. And their employees donates and doing volunteer works. Thus, LG electronics more actively participate in CSR program.

    Interview with employee in LGE
    We interviewed with the employee who has been working at the Global Service division since January in this year. She showed her opinion about the CSR and some programs LGE practices.
